Who are the Brooklyn Nets?

After the trades of superstars of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving last February, the Nets were left with a roster littered with role players and players who would be the third and fourth options on championship teams. The team as currently constructed is simply not talented to compete in the East as they have no clear star. Instead of trading players like Royce O’Neale and Dorian Finney Smith for first round picks or bonafide super stars, the Nets are committed to build around Mikal Bridges, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. This is a horrific miscalculation by Joe Tsai and Sean Marks and will lead the Nets into purgatory.
